Philip Gerstein
Born and raised in Moscow, USSR, Philip pursued PhD in Art History at Harvard + a course of studies at SMFA Boston. Philip has been exhibiting in NYC, Provincetown, & very extensively in the Boston area while organizing/curating painting + photography shows. His paintings are in private collections across the US and in Europe.
Just as I speak fluently more than one language, I 'speak’ several distinct styles of abstraction. You can feel my interest in color, texture, and deeper vibration joining them all! -- like fully conceived musical compositions, like emotive and impactful poetry read aloud. That keeps each work fresh, unique, and inherently experimental.
