Justin Brennan is a contemporary abstract painter and mixed media artist. He lives and works in Cleveland, Ohio. Mostly self taught, he has relied on trial and error throughout his learning process. Justin has been mentioned or featured in Canvas Magazine, Studio Visit Magazine Vol 50 and New American Paintings Midwest 167.
My practice focuses primarily on relationships and self-reflection. These interactions and contemplation are portrayed with ambiguity and anonymity as an expression of my search for identity and purpose. Some variables that directly affect the work during this process are glimpses of clarity, moments of struggle, and the discovery of material.
