Marina Burana is an Argentinian visual artist based in Taiwan. She is also a writer, a puppeteer and a facilitator of participatory community arts projects. She studied at the Art Students League of New York and got her BFA with a Painting Major from Taipei National University of the Arts.
“My work often centers around poetry and memory. Taking inspiration from poems that have a profound impact on me and from intimate memories, I try to weave a personal visual literacy reinvented and rearranged by rich and full colors and by a constant search of a narrative derived from movement.”
