Jonna Pedersen (b. 1971) artist and curator, lives in Copenhagen, Denmark. Master of Arts (MA) in Business, Language and Culture from University of Southern Denmark and private art schools. She makes paintings, mixed media, digital collages and linocuts. Pedersen has exhibited internationally and been awarded multiple national grants.

“My practice is an exploration of existence and cultural traces. Currently reflecting existence through well-known pictorial elements, that I interpret and sample in a story about life and common human conditions. I am interested in how noteworthy clothes express values and attitudes and tell something about how we exist in the world. Being a colorist, I work in depth with my usage of color.”
