SUSAN BURR CARLO
Susan Burr Carlo lives in NYC and exhibits her work locally and nationally. She attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, where she studied photorealism before developing her own more interpretive painting style. She has also enjoyed a long and much-loved career as a teacher of art.
“I have always loved flowers, and I think they were a personal symbol long before I knew it. For me they represent hope and strength that we can identify with in a complicated world. Symbolically, perhaps, they ARE us; more resilient than we may appear.”
