Rella Stuart-Hunt’s work follows in the tradition of non-objective painting and has focused on an interest in perception. Her recent works are directly felt responses inspired by her poems which tend to be visual and sensory, bridging the gap between the visual and the semantic. Work by Rella Stuart-Hunt was included in "No Chromophobia" at OK Harris from May 31 - July 11, and September 2 - 6 2008. Her work was also included in the exhibition "Color" at Southwest Minnesota State University from March 3 - April 25, 2009. She was responsible for curating 'Continuing Color Abstraction', the inaugural exhibition of The Painting Center's new space in April 2010.
